Baby William reunited with his father, after months apart

Baby William and his father are now reunited, after spending months apart.

The baby and his mother, 19-year-old Madeline Jones, had been reported missing from Mesa in June. Police since tracked them down in California, and detectives believe Jones, with the help of her parents, came up with an elaborate scheme to disappear with her son, in an effort to avoid sharing custody with the baby's father.

"He's safe and he's coming home soon," said Jacob Gouchenour. "Thank you so much for your support."

After a frightening few weeks, the reunion with Baby William was one the Gouchenour family has been waiting for.

"It's such a relief to be able to hold him finally again, and know that he's safe," said Jacob.

The reunion came after a whirlwind few weeks, and there are still a lot of questions that have yet to be answered. Meanwhile, Jones remains in custody in San Diego, after fleeing from Arizona with Baby William, and Jones' parents have been in jail for a week, after authorities accuse them of helping their daughter take her infant to California.

"In a few days, we'll be back to Montana," said Jacob. "He's got a whole bunch of family that has yet to meet him, and excited for him to be apart of their lives."
