Bad crash closes Tempe intersection

TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A bad accident near Southern and Rural has closed the intersection early Tuesday morning.

The Tempe Police Department tells Fox 10 that eastbound Southern is closed at Rural and westbound traffic is restricted due to the crash.

There are injuries at the scene, however, the extent of them is unknown. Police say the accident was caused by impairment.
