Bank employee accused of stealing from customer's account

GREEN VALLEY, Ariz. (AP) - Pima County sheriff's officials say a bank employee has been arrested of stealing $5,800 from the account of a 79-year-old customer.

The Sheriff's department said 25-year-old Francisco Gamez-Hernandez of Sahuarita was arrested on suspicion of theft, computer tampering and fraudulent use of a credit.

Deputy Tracy Suitt said Gamez-Hernandez was a personal teller at a Wells Fargo branch in Green Valley and that bank officials contacted the Sheriff's Department on Monday after detecting the alleged theft.

According to the Sheriff's Department, Wells Fargo has reimbursed the victim's account.

Suit says he doesn't know whether Gamez-Hernandez has an attorney.
