Being bilingual makes you more attractive

Do you want to be more successful in your career and in love? Do you also want a healthy brain long into old age? Then all you need to do is learn another language!

Or at least that's the case according to a majority of Americans and Britons who were polled in a new survey by the language app Babbel.

The polls concluded that 71% of Americans and 61% of Britons believe speaking more than one language makes a person more attractive.

Oui, c'est vrai!

And one in four Americans and Britons feel that being monolingual has held them back professionally. So it's really no surprise that one in eight admitted to over exaggerating their language skills on a resume.

So being multilingual can make you more appealing, more successful, and Canadian neuroscientist Ellen Bialystok found that speaking more than one language regularly enhances cognitive abilities and can also delay symptoms of Alzheimer's.

Well we are convinced. We're ready to learn how to hablo! O,h we feel more attractive already. Ay caramba!
