Boy rescued from canal in Mesa

MESA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Firefighters say a boy was rescued from a canal during a monsoon storm in the East Valley.

The Mesa Fire Department says the 11-year-old boy was rescued near Ray and Ellsworth Roads on Monday morning.

The East Valley was hit hard with thunderstorms and flash floods on Monday morning.
