Chandler woman indicted on fraud charges
CHANDLER, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A Chandler woman has been indicted on multiple charges, including fraud.
According to newly released information from the Arizona grand jury, Jennifer Garrett is accused of receiving $70,000 in state-funded benefits, while her and her husband owned and operated a successful car restoration business.
The attorney general's office says in addition to this, Garrett bought a Nissan 350-Z and Mercedes SUV while she was receiving the state's funds from the Medicaid program AHCCCS.
Garrett faces fraud, theft and forgery charges.
