Child pornography found in Tempe mailboxes
TEMPE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Tempe Police officers are investigating after child pornography was discovered in several mailboxes in the city.
Officers say they received three calls about envelopes found in mailboxes containing disturbing fliers with images of child pornography.
They went door-to-door to see if other residents had received the offensive envelopes. Police collected a total of nine envelopes.
The envelopes were found in the area of Ninth Street and Farmer and did not have a return address.
They were turned over to the Tempe Police Criminal Investigations Bureau for detectives to investigate.
