Dealing with Iran: Nuclear deal and freed Americans
While the international community tries to figure out how to handle Tehran and determine what steps to take after a historic nuclear deal, two prisoners who were held hostage in Iran are back home.
The international community will now monitor Iran to make sure the country does not get a nuclear weapon.
Tehran has accused the United States of being addicted to sanctions.
White House officials will travel to Israel next week to talk about mitigating the Iranian threat.
As of January 21, two Americans are finally home after their release from Iran over the weekend. Christian Pastor Saeed Abedini and former Marine, 32-year-old Amir Hekmati.
Hekmati is a native of Flagstaff, Arizona. Here's what he had to say shortly after landing in Lansing, Michigan:
"I'm very grateful to finally be home. It's been a very long road. Very long journey. Unfortunately, many people have traveled this road with me."
One other prison opted to say in Iran while Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian is still in Germany.
