Driver crashes through guardrail on Loop 202

A woman is expected to survive after she was thrown from a vehicle that rolled over several times near the Loop 202 and 32nd Street.

Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers say the driver was heading west on the Loop 202 when she crashed through a guardrail. The vehicle rolled over and landed in a ravine.

Crews with the Phoenix Fire Department had to extricate the woman from the vehicle. She was seriously injured and was rushed to the hospital. She is expected to survive.

Troopers say impairment was a factor in the crash.
