El Mirage boy recovering after being bit by pit bull
EL MIRAGE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A 6-year-old boy is recovering after being bit by his family's pit bull on Tuesday night.
The El Mirage Fire Department says the boy was playing with the dog when he was bit. The boy suffered lacerations and punctures to his face and was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital.
Hospital officials say the boy may lose part of his ear, but he is expected to be OK.
