End of watch: Emotional final radio call made for Hillsborough deputy

In order to say goodbye to one of their own, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office made one of the hardest radio calls a deputy has to make.

In a post on Facebook, the sheriff's office announced the passing of Corporal Jonathan Black on Sunday after his battle with cancer. The agency shared an emotional video of Corporal Black's "End of Watch" call.

"Corporal Jonathan Black. ABN 5232," the deputy is heard saying in the video before a long pause. "No response from Corporal Jonathan Black."

He added, "John Black was a servant leader, an incredible father and husband, a selfless humanitarian and a true inspiration to us all, whom virtue has united, death shall not separate. Godspeed brother, we have it from here."

In a separate Facebook post, Sheriff Chad Chronister wrote, "Rest in peace, dear friend. God has a special place for people like you."
