Gas line break causes traffic closures in Phoenix
PHOENIX - The 99th Avenue and Camelback intersection was temporarily closed due to a gas line break on Monday morning.
Officials say a back hoe at a construction site struck a pipe, creating a leak.
99th Avenue between Missouri and Campbell were shut down while crews worked to find the source of the gas leak. Using a back hoe and some shovels, crews were able to find that leak and shut the gas off.
Southwest Gas is investigating this case.
