Glendale Police: Two-year-old girl found in pool has died

GLENDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Glendale Police officials say Friday night a two-year-old girl has died, after she was pulled from a pool at a Glendale home.

According to a statement released by Officer Tiffany Smith with Glendale Police Department, the incident happened at around 7:23 p.m., on the 6500 block of W. Rose Lane.

The girl, according to Glendale Police, was taken to a hospital, where she later died. Police officials say at this time, they do not know what happened, nor do they know how long the girl was under water.

Glendale Police officials say an investigation is ongoing, in order to determine if there will be criminal charges. Police did not identify the girl.
