Goodyear police looking for assault, attempted kidnapping suspect

GOODYEAR, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly assault and tried to kidnap a woman outside a Goodyear McDonald's on Monday night.

Goodyear police say a man struck a woman in the face, ripped her clothing and tried to pull her into his vehicle at the McDonald's located at 870 N. Dysart Road just after 5 p.m. The victim fought off the suspect, but she did suffer injuries.

The suspect is described as an African-American man, 20 to 30 years old, 6'0" tall and has a thin build. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue basketball shorts.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a white Dodge crew cab pickup truck.
