PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Phoenix officially had its first 110F day in 2018 on Monday, according to the National Weather Service.
NWS Phoenix officials announced the news, in a tweet on its verified Twitter page Monday afternoon.
According to NWS records, the normal high temperature in Phoenix on June 4 is 101F. Monday may have felt warm, but compared to June 4, 2016, it was a bit cooler. On that day, NWS records show Phoenix reached 115F.
