IT'S OFFICIAL! Phoenix hits 100F!

It's official! Temperatures in Phoenix reached 100F on Friday.

According to the National Weather Service Phoenix's verified Twitter page, Phoenix reached 100F at around 3:35 p.m. on Friday, and they said there is still time for the temperature to go higher.

Relief, however, could come this weekend in the form of a cooling trend, according to the tweet.

According to NWS's website, the record high for Phoenix on April 27 is 104F, set back in 1992, and the average high on this day is 89F.
