Large commercial fire destroys Phoenix business Sunday morning

PHOENIX, ARIZONA - According to Phoenix Fire Department about 80 firefighters battled a large commercial fire Sunday morning.

The large fire erupting at around 1 a.m. at a local business near the I-17 and Central Ave.

When Phoenix Fire arrived they found a large portion of the 60,000 sq/ft building engulfed in flames and spreading quickly.

Fire crews used elevated ladder pipe streams to surround and contain the fire and protect homes in the area.

There were no reports of injuries during the fire and it is still unknown what caused the fire.
