PHOENIX (AP) -- A second man accused in the fatal shootings of two women in the Phoenix suburb of Surprise has been transported to Arizona from Michigan.

Records indicate that 23-year-old Montez Lavelle Wright III was booked into a Maricopa County jail late Thursday.

Wright was arrested in Southfield, Michigan, where authorities say he's from.

The Maricopa County Attorney's Office says a criminal complaint charges Wright with two counts of first-degree and one of burglary.

Court records indicate Wright doesn't have a lawyer who could comment on the allegations.

Another man, 24-year-old Andrew Thomas Lauro of Goodyear faces two counts of first-degree murder and one count each of armed robbery and theft.

The charges stem from the killings of 70-year-old Barbara Leslie of Surprise and 75-year-old Ruth Schwed of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
