Man killed after being dragged underneath truck in Maricopa

MARICOPA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - A man has been killed after he was accidentally dragged and run over by his pickup truck.

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says the man was working on his truck in the 52000 block of W. Roan Rd., when he lost control of the vehicle and was run over.

A second person who tried to get into the truck to stop it was injured when the pickup ran over his leg.

The investigation by sheriff's deputies is ongoing.
