Man stabbed several times near ASU; police search for 2 suspects

Police are searching for two suspects after a man was stabbed several times overnight near Arizona State University's main campus.

Authorities say people in an apartment building near Rural and Apache Blvd. called 9-1-1 when they heard a woman screaming.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found a 20-year-old man with multiple stab wounds.

Investigators say the victim then ran across the street to a liquor store to get help. We're told he got into a struggle with two other men, who ran from the scene.

"The suspects are a white male and a black male, both about 5' 6", 5' 7", both wearing dark hooded sweatshirts.. last seen running from the area," said Tempe Police Sgt. Tyler Watkins.

The victim remains in serious condition.
