MCSO: Dive team recovers body of man at Lake Pleasant

PEORIA, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Authorities have recovered the body of a man who drowned at Lake Pleasant on Sunday.

According to Sgt. Enriquez with the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, the body of a 42-year-old man was recovered on Monday morning at Lake Pleasant.

MCSO says the man was seen going under water by friends in Humbug Cove, which is located at the north end of Lake Pleasant.

The victim's identity has not been released.
