Mesa Public Library holding Gardening 101 classes

MESA, Ariz. (FOX 10) - To kick off gardening season, the Mesa Public Library is hosting Gardening 101 classes. It's combined into three classes where people can learn the basics of gardening. From how to get started, how to maintain it, and how to harvest it.

Instructor Kaylee Colter says these classes are not only about learning but also about building a community.

"Classes like this are great because you get the opportunity to ask questions or connect with other people who are trying to garden," said Colter. "And sometimes, people just need a little bit of a push to get started."

The next gardening class will be in two weeks.
