Monsoon 2015: 8/27 storms return to the valley

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The monsoon brought another dose of wind and rain to the valley Thursday.

Storms started moving into the valley after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Radar showed strong storm cells all over the valley.

The National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm warning for the east valley and far west valley until 5 p.m.

Wind gusts of up to 45-60 miles per hour were reported, along with dust storms.

Several trees were reportedly uprooted and/or down in the west valley near Peoria.
