Nobu Restaurant coming to Scottsdale Fashion Square

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Nobu Restaurant, a Hollywood favorite, will open its first-ever Arizona restaurant in Scottsdale.

The new Nobu Scottsdale is set to open as part of Scottsdale Fashion Square's new luxury wing. Macerich, the company that manages Fashion Square, made the announcement Wednesday.

The international restaurant sensation's newest location will feature some it's signature dishes including Black Cod with Miso and Yellowtail Sashimi with Jalapeno, as well as new dishes created especially for the new Scottsdale location.

"Scottsdale is such a beautiful area, and Fashion Square is in the center of it all," said Chef Nobu Matsuhisa. "We look forward to bringing guests the Nobu signatures they have come to love, along with some very special dishes that will only be available at Nobu Scottsdale."

No opening date as been as been announced nor any details about what the restaurant will look like.

Nobu was founded by partners Nobu Matsuhisa, Robert De Niro and Meir Teper, and the empire has grown to include 39 restaurants around the world plus hotels.
