One year later, flood victims continue recovery

One year later and it is a much different picture from last year on September 8, when the City of Mesa turned into a massive lake.

After rain fell non stop the southeast valley neighborhood was crippled, trying to clean it all up.

All of that damage has now led to a pretty serious legal fight, and FOX 10 went back to the neighborhood to find out how the recovery is going.

For the neighbors near Emerald Park in Mesa, it's been a long hard year of recovery. It's also been expensive and emotionally draining.

Victims want money from the City of Mesa to compensate them for their losses.

FOX 10's Steve Krafft spoke with neighbors and has this report.
