PCSO cancels Amber Alert; one detained

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office canceled an Amber Alert after the suspect and vehicle were found in Mesa.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety, Mesa Police, and PCSO deputies stopped the vehicle near Val Vista & University in Mesa.

All the children were found safe and the suspect was taken into custody.

The alert was originally issued as deputies were looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a woman and abducted her and her four children.

PCSO said that Shane Borden allegedly struck Sarah Johnson, ripping her clothing, and knocking her unconscious. He then placed her into the vehicle with her four kids.
