PD: 1 injured in overnight shooting near I-17 and Grant

Phoenix Police say one man was shot early Saturday morning near Interstate 17 and Grant.

PHOENIX - Phoenix Police are investigating a shooting that left one person in the hospital. 

Officers responded to a shooting call around 1:45 a.m. Saturday near Interstate 17 and Grant where they found a man with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to the hospital and is expected to be okay. 

Police believe the victim and the suspect knew each other. 

No further details have been released. 

The investigation is ongoing.
