PD: Two motorcyclists injured following crash in Phoenix

PHOENIX, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Two motorcyclists are recovering after being involved in a crash.

Phoenix Police say two motorcycles collided near McDowell Road and 28th Street Saturday afternoon.

Investigators say a nearby witness believes both motorcyclists were hit by a white Ford truck that left the scene. The truck has not been located.

One of the people injured, a 61-year-old female, is in extremely critical condition. The other, a 56-year-old male suffered non-life threatening injuries.

Impairment is suspected to be a factor in this incident, as the male driver was arrested for DUI.

Police continue to investigate.
