People react as Trump announces deal to temporarily end government shutdown
PHOENIX (AP/FOX 10) -- Friday's announcement by President Donald Trump that the Federal government will temporarily reopen is good news for Federal workers Valley, who missed a second paycheck on Friday.
After saying for weeks that he would not reopen the government without border wall money, Trump said he would soon sign a bill to re-open the government through Feb. 15 without additional money for his signature campaign promise. He said that a bipartisan committee of lawmakers would be formed to consider border spending before the new deadline.
In addition, Trump said Federal workers will all get back pay, as soon as possible. FOX 10's Jennifer Martinez reports.
