Peoria police officer involved in crash on his way to work

Peoria police say an officer in an unmarked vehicle was involved in a crash on his way to work early Thursday morning.

GLENDALE, Ariz. - Peoria police say an officer in an unmarked vehicle was involved in a crash on his way to work early Thursday morning.

According to police, the crash happened on a ramp near the Loop 101 and Union Hills.

The cause of the crash is unknown, but police say there were only minor injuries.
