Phoenix Zoo set to re-open following monsoon clean up

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - The Phoenix Zoo is set to re-open on Friday morning, after being closed for three days due to storm clean up.

After Monday's severe monsoon storms hit the valley, the zoo shut its doors for three days to clean up the damage left by the storms.

It was the first time in the history of the Phoenix Zoo that it was closed for three days.

Gates open at the zoo at 9 a.m. on Friday morning.
