Plane crashes near Toyota Proving Grounds in Wittmann

An Alpha Trainer went down on Thursday morning south of the Wickenburg Municipal Airport in Wittmann, the FAA said. Two people were on board, but it's unknown if they were hurt.

WITTMANN, Ariz. - Two people were on board an Alpha Trainer that crashed on Thursday morning south of the Wickenburg Municipal Airport in Wittmann.

What we know:

The crash happened at around 6:45 a.m. on Sept. 25 near the Toyota Proving Grounds.

What we don't know:

It's unknown if the people on board were hurt.
