Police: 1 dead following Phoenix strip mall shooting

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say one man is dead and another is critically injured following a shooting at a Phoenix strip mall.

Phoenix police say the shooting happened near 34th Avenue and Greenway on April 26 and when officers arrived at the scene, two 32-year-old men were suffering from gunshot wounds.

One man was pronounced dead at the scene and the other was taken to a nearby hospital where he remains in critical condition.

Investigators say the two victims were involved in an altercation with two other men when the shooting occurred. After the shooting, the suspects left the scene in a white vehicle with possibly two other men.
