Police: Child found wandering valley streets

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - A child was found wandering the valley streets early Friday morning.

The Phoenix Police Department says the boy was found wandering streets near 21st Avenue and Glendale just after 4 a.m. The boy told police that he tried to follow his mother to work.

The boy was initially turned over to DCS, but police say the child's parents have come forward. The boy is in good health.
