Police: Man in critical condition after being hit by car

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Police say a man is in critical condition after he was struck by a car in west Phoenix.

Phoenix police say the man was crossing mid block near 35th Avenue and Thomas Road early Friday morning when he was hit a car traveling westbound.

Impairment does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
