Police release booking photo of woman accused of stabbing Austin nurse 21 times
Austin Police release the booking photo of Pearl Moen. Moen is now facing an attempted murder charge for the November 14th Hyde Park incident. Moen is accused of stabbing the 24-year-old nurse 21 times early that morning.
Detectives were tipped off after a February 14th incident this year. According to an arrest affidavit, Moen got into a fight with her mother and the police were called. Moen's mother told them her daughter matched the description of the stabbing suspect and Moen's then-boyfriend said the teenager told him she had killed someone. Police searched her house, and found the teenager's journal, which revealed some disturbing information.
I'll start with the exciting bit. I stabbed an innocent woman to death earlier today. (Technically yesterday since its 1am) it was absolutely fantastic. Murder gives me a high unlike any other, it feels like this crisp unreality, flashing & sparkling, adrenaline & shock, fight or flight mode. How do I even go about describing it, the whole thing was unreal. I'm so proud of myself; I stabbed her like 20 times. Maybe more, I wasn't counting; she screamed & grabbed at me.
