Police seek mask-wearing suspect who allegedly robbed convenience store

Police are looking for a mask-wearing suspect who allegedly robbed a Scottsdale convenience store while armed with a hatchet.

Scottsdale police say the suspect was wearing a zombie-clown Halloween mask with gray hair and yellow teeth and was armed with a hatchet when he entered the Superpumper convenience store on October 14 and demanded money from the cashier.

After getting the money from the cashier, police say the suspect left the store, but returned seconds later and ordered the cashier to the back office. The suspect then stole merchandise and cigarettes and left the store on foot.

The suspect is described as 6'0" and 200 pounds with a slim build, long sleeve black shirt, dark-colored jeans and black gloves.
