Pregnant mom of 4 killed while pushing car on side of road in suburbs

A man is in custody for the death of a woman who was killed pushing her car along the side of the road in suburban Chicago.

So far, no charges have been filed.

The horrific accident took the life of a pregnant mother of four. It happened on Highway 20 in Streamwood, east of Hanover Park.

Aries Cobian, 29, from Hanover Park was killed Monday night when she was rear-ended by a pickup truck while pushing her car along Highway 20. She died later at the hospital. She had four children -- ages 9, 7, 3 and 6 months and she was 12 weeks pregnant.

Cobian's 1994 Oldsmobile had broken down. She and her cousin were pushing the car while another cousin steered. That's when the pickup truck rear ended the trio, but Cobian was the only one killed.

The driver of the pickup was taken in to police custody Monday night, but no charges have yet been filed.
