PVHS football team members sidelined for the season

PARADISE VALLEY, Ariz. (KSAZ) - Eight students will not be playing football this year after a reported hazing incident.

Administrators investigated allegations of a hazing incident involving students who were in the San Diego area for a football camp.

49 players took part in the football camp, eight students reported to coaches that they were hazed by other members of the team.

El Cajon police were called and conducted their own investigation.

PV School District staff said they cannot release the names of the students involved, citing federal laws.
