Reward offered for armed robbery suspect
PHOENIX - Police are searching for a suspect who pointed a gun at a fast food worker's head right in front of a child.
According to Silent Witness spokesperson Sgt. James Rothschild, the male suspect entered a Jack in the Box restaurant near 99th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road.
They say he pressed a handgun against a store worker's head, saying he wanted cash.
Police say a child was standing at the counter when the armed robbery unfolded.
The victim turned over the money, and the man fired off a round at the cash register and then fled the scene.
The suspect is described as a white man, about six feet three inches tall, weighing 180 pounds with a blue bandana over his face, a black T-shirt and black & gray & white camouflage pants and black combat boots.
His left hand and mid forearm were covered with a white glove. the suspect was armed with a handgun.
