Reward offered for theft suspect

PHOENIX - Phoenix Police are trying to find a suspect who robbed a woman at Desert Sky Mall in west Phoenix. A reward has been offered for information leading to his arrest.

Police say the suspect entered the mall near 75th Avenue and Thomas on Wednesday, July 6th at about 4:40pm. They say he ran up to the victim and grabbed a chain from around her neck. She chased the man, but was unable to catch him.

Officers say the suspect took off with a second person in a grey Chrysler PT cruiser. The suspect is described as a 17-year-old Hispanic male, six feet tall, about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with white sleeves and a white design across the bottom.
