Silent Witness: Suspect robs Metro PCS employees and customer using handgun

Phoenix Police are searching for a suspect who robbed Metro PCS employees and a customer.

On Monday, September 11, 2017 at noon, the suspect entered the store near 26th Street and Bell Road under the guise that he needed help with his cell phone.

While an employee attempted to help him, he pulled out a handgun from his waistband. He then ordered the employees and a customer to walk to the back of the store.

He demanded the employees open the safe, however, they did not have access to it. He followed up by telling them to take money out of the registers.

The employees complied with this order and the suspect then fled on foot walking westbound on Bell Road.

The suspect is described as a 24-year-old Hispanic male weighing 165 pounds and 6 feet tall. He was wearing a royal blue long sleeve shirt, jeans, black shoes and a baseball hat.
