CONCORD, NC - This family of Michael Jackson super fans may have just hit the jackpot. Amber and Mike love to explore their favorite thrift shop, Heavenly Treasures. One day a cassette in the music section caught their eye.
Mike remembers, "There's Michael Jackson's Bad, sitting there for 25 cent. You don't pass that up."
Amber has always loved Michael Jackson. She explains, "I can remember whenever I was 7 years old, I told my mom I wanted Michael Jackson to come out of my birthday cake."
Even their moonwalking ten year-old son is board. When Amber pulled out the cassette insert to show him Michael's moves, she made an incredible discovery.
Mike says, "She was just like 'Babe. Babe. Babe. This is signed.' And I was going, 'No. No way.'"
They noticed that the marker had caught in the folds- so that meant it wasn't a print. They immediately googled autographs to compare. They hope to get it authenticated, but for now it looks pretty real. And they wouldn't want to sell it anyway. Was it their coolest moment as a couple? It was certainly their most "Thrilling"!
