President Donald Trump has referenced Joe Biden’s name almost 900 times in 2026, according to Reuters.
Trump reportedly has made the former president a political target on average three times a day in speeches, comments and Truth Social posts, blaming Biden for issues affecting the nation, from inflation to immigration.

Reuters conducted a review examining President Donald Trump's references to former President Joe Biden from January, when the 2026 election cycle started.
The findings accentuate Trump's attempts to keep the attention on Biden as his own approval ratings have dwindled, the United States war with Iran continues, and the cost-of-living soaring.

According to Reuters, Trump has called out Biden by name at least 890 times since January, spanning nearly 200 events and interviews and 190 Truth Social posts this year.
Trump referenced Biden about 210 times on the U.S. economy, 168 times on immigration and 138 times on foreign policy and national security matters, while also blaming Biden for other domestic problems.
Trump has also condemned Biden at events, the National Prayer Breakfast and the traditional Easter Egg Roll on the White House South Lawn.
And at July’s NATO meeting in Turkey, Trump set a record for the number of mentions in a single day – 16. He also blamed Biden for a lack of military munitions, the cost of housing and criticizing the steel industry.
In terms of the economy, Trump has blamed Biden for affordability issues. "I hope everyone realizes that price increases throughout America were caused by Sleepy Joe Biden and the Biden Administration, not by ‘TRUMP,’" the president posted on Truth Social last week.

Immigration is another issue that Trump most frequently cites Biden.
Trump’s controversial deportation efforts have been met with blame and nationwide protests this year. He has shifted blame to Biden, alleging that the former president’s policies have allowed record levels of illegal immigration along the US-Mexico border.
