Two arrested in connection with Goodyear man's death

PHOENIX (KSAZ) - Two people are now under arrest, in connection with the shooting death of Antoine Rogers.

According to Goodyear Police, Rogers, 29, was shot and killed Tuesday night in the area of Cotton Lane and Van Buren. Anthony Cornejo went in front of a judge on Friday, and late Friday afternoon, police say a second suspect, 23-year-old Joseph Gutierrez from Phoenix, was arrested after he was released from the hospital.

Gutierrez, according to Goodyear Police, was hurt during the shooting, and is being charged with first degree murder.
