'Unlivable' conditions reported at Glendale apartment complex

GLENDALE, Ariz. (FOX 10) -- Residents at an apartment complex in Glendale spent the holiday without heat, hot water and that means no hot meals either -- and this isn't the first time we've reported on this complex.

99 problems and this apartment complex near 67th Avenue and Glendale has them all.

"I didn't have any hot water, no gas, no heat. Nothing," said Lawrence Davis, Jr.

"I've got termites and they don't want to do nothing. I've got mold under the bathroom. I have not had heat in two weeks," said Mario Rios, who has lived in the complex for two years.

"Last night, the gas went off, so no heat, no hot water, and no stove to cook for my children. I have a 2-year-old and a 12-year-old. I mean, I don't know what to do," said Tanya Bailey.

People living at the Glendale Manor apartment complex described unlivable conditions, but for these residents, it is nothing new.

"It's not right the way they doing us, we pay our rent, so we should live better than we living," said Edna Barnett.

In July, defective air conditioning units left residents in sweltering conditions.

"They don't give us nothing.. we shower and we just use cold water. We don't even need to turn on the hot water," said a resident.

Now these west Valley folks are looking for more answers from a complex that's ending 2018 with a constant run around.

"They told me they were going to send somebody and they never do," said Rios.

We had a lot of residents tell us when they call management, they get a voicemail is full message. They look inside the office and the staffers are standing there and not answering the phones. We called that office today and got through, but when we started to read the quotes from residents, the phone call was disconnected. We called them back, we got to the voicemail which was also full.
