The vice president toured damage in Albany and Bainbridge. He even took an aerial tour.

Roof ripped off buildings, crops flattened, and hundreds of trees knocked over, flat to the ground is what Mr. Pence saw.

Officials said the storm heavily damaged poultry, pecan, peanut and cotton crops for many farmers.

Vice President Pence estimated the damage to crops in southwest Georgia at nearly $2 billion.

Meanwhile, the death toll from Michael has risen to 16.

Most of the death happened in the area around Mexico Beach, Fla. which took a direct hit from the storm.

The hurricane destroyed or damaged thousands of homes and businesses - and tensions remain high in many areas.

In Panama City, there's still a dusk to dawn curfew in effect to help stop looting with several businesses already reporting break-ins.

There's still just about 150,000 people in Florida without power and officials say it could be next week before they can get full power restored.
