Government shutdown impact on national parks

Visitors at Saguro National Park near Tucson saw a closed off gate and thought the park was closed until they saw other people parking on the side of the road and walking right in. Ahead of the government shutdown, the National Park Service said it would furlough more than 9,000 employees, cutting more than half the staff.

Dozens of guinea pigs stolen in Tucson area

More than two dozen guinea pigs were stolen from an animal sanctuary in the Tucson area, and the incident was caught on camera. The animals stolen also have special medical needs, and may not survive. Reporter Raya Torres has more.

Police in Tucson say a bear was captured and tranquilized in a garden. The bear was not harmed and will be moved to a new mountain home.

Man with AZ ties wanted for Oregon teen's murder

Authorities in Oregon say they are looking for three men in connection with the murder of a teenager back in April in a city near Portland, and one of the wanted suspects has ties to Phoenix and Tucson.
