Some of the new laws include age verification for adult websites, the minimum age to purchase tobacco products is now 21, and the broadening of the definition of animal cruelty in Arizona. The state's Silver Alert system will also be replaced with the Safe Alert system.

Memorial services to be held for fallen AZ firefighters
Timber Mesa firefighters Brenna Kulikowsi and Damon Thompson were killed in an on-duty crash near Heber. A memorial service for Kulikowski will be held on Sept. 26. A service for Thompson will be held on Saturday.
