Kari Lake expected to announce 2024 Senate run
Kari Lake says she will make a huge announcement on her future at a rally on Tuesday night. She reportedly filed paperwork to run as a Republican with the Federal Election Commission last week. Lake lost the governor's race to Democrat Katie Hobbs last year. The Senate seat is currently held by Independent Kyrsten Sinema, who has not formally launched a re-election campaign. The only other major Republican in the race so far is Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb. Democratic Congressman Ruben Gallego is also running for the Senate seat.
